Our civilization is producing far too much CO2 from fossils fuels. Today, catastrophic domino effects in climate change, due to global warming can only be averted by decisive leadership and bold actions.

Replacing fossil fuels with clean renewable energy on a massive scale will effectively slow down global warming and stabilize the economy.by providing our next, CO2 free and inexpensive energy source.

We do offer an immediate and realistic answer: use today's proven and available technology and integrate it into a  solar /bio-energy  ‘SMART’ platform, with a production capacity over 100,000 MegaWatt. Transport the  electricity produced via very low loss HVDC cables to the respective grid operators.   (HVDC = High Voltage Direct Current technology developed and sold by SIEMENS and ABB)   

4) OBJECTIVE   

Establish a new, wholesale clean energy provider within a strategic location. Produce zero CO2 electrical power  for homes and industries throughout the whole of Europe, West Africa and beyond.

Secure long-term contracts with governments, national grid distributors/ organizations and major energy companies for the supply of clean, CO2 free renewable energy. Get maximum carbon credits.

8) STATUS AND TIME SCALE   

Ready to move on, MARE will be supported by scientists and engineers from several famous German clean energy  Institutions.  It will feature state of the art “CSP” technologies as promoted by the ‘German Aerospace Centre "DLR"’.   A huge offshore energy platform will be constructed in scalable and modular format to alleviate assembly procedures. This course of action enables rapid progress and energy production early on, even in the deployment phase.  A budget of around 100Bn Euros is forecast together with a  5 year/phase 1& 2 period of construction .   

9) PROJECTIONS   

At full capacity, approximately 700-900 terawatt/hours of electricity shall be produced each year. (equivalent to 100-120 nuclear power stations) . Assuming a selling price of 15 cents per kilowatt, a  turnover well beyond 100 billion Euros per year can be achieved.    

10) CONCLUSION   

a) MARE offers a real world solution to massive clean, CO2 free energy production based on proven technologies.  

b) Renewable energy on such a vast scale eliminates the need for more coal or nuclear power stations.
